here's one for you all to play with...make a finger sz crv and measure it...extrude a 4mm sguare the length of the crv and fillet the edges...turn on history and flow to the finger crv...now twist the extruded square infinate on..then cage edit the twisted square to get a wider shape on the top of ring....then wire cut 1/2 (the lower half) of the twisted extruded square.... history will do the rest....scale down to the size you need......then send the stl to the mill ...or your printer!...have fun!

here's your file and what I did to your design I like this one!    if you could have it grown it would be pretty fluid design something smooth and different...and no stones to drive up the cost!  you might have to save the file and choose to open in rhino 4 I think it got saved as a rhino 5 file
