Several months ago, we had a discussion on how to make a rope ring.

 

Pat and Ken responded with ideas, however, it seems that we have to start from scratch.

  -As what was taught or shown before isnt working properly.

 

Please take a look at the file I have attached, and you will understand why.  I have 2 wires with a curve between them.  I try to twist them together to make a 5mm rope ring and flow along curve.  But before I even get to flowing, the twist makes an awkward screw like shape to the rope, rather a smooth flowing nice rope effect.

 

Please Advise...

try less turns or try 3-4 rods to twist

Pat,

 

How do i get it to stay smooth and circular with more turns??  Thats where the issue lies...

 

is there an answer for that?
