T-Splines
T-Splines seem to be a helpful tool...I see it is now a part of RG...where can I find some info on using it, or how it works...or is it left up to "play and learn"?

tsplines is not a part of RG it is a separate plug in- maybe try the autodesk t splines website for tuts?

This software is not included in RhinoGold. What RhinoGold will include in its next version is Clayoo, the new free-form solution for Rhino.
You can check Clayoo out and download the Beta version on: www.clayoo.com
